Joanna S. Feltz concentrates her practice primarily in the areas of estate planning, business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Joanna’s interest in this area of the law comes from a desire to work with clients and guide them through the process of developing their estate plan so that it will provide for themselves and their loved ones during all stages of the client’s life. Joanna shares the firm's commitment to providing comprehensive, personalized estate planning advice that satisfies her clients' goals and objectives.
Professional
Experience
Joanna has worked extensively in the field of
estate planning and administration since 1996. Prior to joining
Galbraith Associates, Joanna was an attorney for a Carmel firm where she
counseled clients on their estate planning and post mortem
administration needs. Additionally, Joanna has enjoyed the opportunity
to be a speaker on the subject of trusts and estates to investment
professionals, accountants, corporations, charities, and various other
public and private organizations.
Joanna is a member of the Indiana State and
Indianapolis Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice before
Indiana Supreme Court and the Southern District Court of Indiana.
To accomplish her goal of providing
professional, cutting-edge legal counseling, Joanna regularly attends
advanced estate planning courses to keep her knowledge of the issues and
solutions in this complex area of the law continually expanding.
Education
As an undergraduate, Joanna attended Indiana
University – Bloomington, where she majored in Political Science and
Telecommunications. She then attended Indiana University School of Law
– Indianapolis, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1998.
Personal Profile
Joanna is married to Jonathan P. Sturgill, an
attorney in Indianapolis. Joanna likes to spend her spare time
traveling, sewing, and playing golf. Joanna and Jonathan currently live
in Indianapolis and are active in the community and their parish.
